Santorini villas

Skaros is a promontory (a high long rock formation which goes out into the sea) located on the outskirts of Imerovigli. Standing out from the Sea to an altitude of 300 meters approximately, this natural wonder used to be the home of a castle, fortress that served as an administrative centre and as the Capital of Santorini in medieval times. Battered repeatedly by strong earthquakes during the XVIII- XIX centuries, this early capital of Santorini was eventually evacuated. Today you could only witness some ruins.
